My office

A little about me Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me and the work we may do together. The adult clients I am privileged to serve often come to therapy carrying the impact of trauma. Trauma can profoundly affect our relationship with ourselves, our bodies and others in our lives. It may manifest as struggles with body image or eating disorders, self harming behavior, difficulties in relationships and our own sense of self. I believe that our lives are shaped not only by what happens to us, but also by the stories we come to tell ourselves about those experiences. Trauma has a way of stealing our sense of authorship. It can diminish our autonomy, distort our identity, and rewrite the narrative of our lives in ways we never intended. My passion is helping people reclaim that authorship. Together, we work to untangle the effects of trauma, discover and reconnect with your strengths and values, and create a story on your own terms that reflects who you are—not what happened to you. I believe therapy is most effective when it honors the uniqueness of each individual. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. Human beings are dynamic, resilient, and creative, and therapy should reflect that. My goal is to meet you where you are, seek to understand your experiences, strengths, and readiness for change, while editing the therapeutic process to fit your specific needs. My approach is warm, collaborative, and flexible. I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and adapt them to support your goals and growth. As therapy unfolds, the process flows and evolves with you—creating space for insight, healing, and meaningful change at a pace that feels both supportive and sustainable. If this sounds like a fit for you, I would consider it a privilege to walk alongside you as you rediscover your voice, reclaim your story, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and whole. Warmly, Heather
